Young Ivins residents saw a need after a fire damaged playground equipment at a local park and asked, “What if we…?” They are now researching solutions and working alongside City Council Member Mike Scott and Parks & Recreation Director Marc Christensen to help shape improvements for their community.

The Ivins Inspired Neighborhood Network brings community representatives together to share ideas, raise concerns, and support one another. By connecting residents with city leadership, these conversations turn local challenges into solutions. Thank you to Council Member Sharon Gillespie for listening, building bridges with the city, and helping move ideas into action.

During a Strong Towns Walk Audit, residents and city officials walked Ivins streets side by side to experience them from a pedestrian’s perspective. Seeing the streets together helped identify safety concerns and sparked thoughtful conversations about practical solutions as our community continues to grow.
