sandra petersen's bio

Sandra Petersen is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), seasoned educator, and passionate family advocate. With a Master’s in Education and extensive experience working with youth and families, she brings a compassionate, insightful approach to whole-child development. As founder of Grow Con Amor, Sandra champions the mission of growing minds and nurturing hearts. Through her initiative, The Mom’s Heart, she helps families take control of the chaos, offering bilingual educational programs, family resources, and private in-home consultations. Her work helps parents build sustainable home systems that support intentional, joyful, screen-free, hands-on learning. Deeply rooted in Southern Utah, Sandra co-directed the Miss Ivins 2026 scholarship pageant, mentors contestants, honors inspiring local women, and serves on the board of Ivins Inspired. Family is the foundation of everything she does. She and her husband, Jason, are proud parents of Miss Ivins 2024 and Miss Ivins 2025, and they have joyfully welcomed a son-in-law into their growing circle, along with their family dogs: Toto, a Yorkie, and Cossette, a Great Pyrenees.
